Jean Baptiste Charbonneau
Her first child.
She gave birth to her son, Jean Baptiste Charbonneau while she was on the traveling expedition. She carried the baby while traveling upriver near the Missisippi. Many of her pictures include her baby symbolizing her hardships. Jean was later adopted by Clark and raised in St. Louis and given an education.

Significance
Skills
Sacagewea's skills were invaluable and she was crucial to the voyage because many times during the trip, she saved the passengers lives. She is honorable till today because she helped make White settlers and Indians better friends and created bonds.
